Floyd Party FAQs

I would like to reserve some space for a party, how do I do this?
Floyd is a great spot for groups large and small. Although we don't have a specific space in the bar we can mark as "reserved" for you, we suggest you simply arrive a little before your guests and find a spot you like and claim it as your own. We do maintain a 'party calendar' for groups of 20 or more, so even though we don't reserve the space, we will limit the number of parties on a given night.

Should I let you know if I have a large group coming in?
Yes, please e-mail andrew@thebellhouseny.com to let us know of any groups larger than 20 so that we can make sure we are properly staffed and prepared for your party.

Do you offer any special deals for big groups?
Yes, if you come in with a group of 20 or more on a Sunday - Wednesday we can provide wristbands for you and your guests which get you $1 off everything except sodas and juices. This can be set up at the bar with the bartender on duty at the start of your party. We are unable to provide these deals on Thursdays through Saturdays.

Do you ever reserve the bocce courts?
No, the bocce courts are never reserved for parties or individuals. They are reserved for our league to use on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from about 12pm - 5pm, and on Monday nights from about 7pm - 11pm and are free and open to the public at all other times. There is a sign-up sheet to the right of the courts. If there is someone on them when you arrive please sign up for the next available slot.

Can I bring in outside food and do you provide plates, napkins, or utensils?
You are welcome to bring in outside food in reasonable quantities and set it up in whatever space you claim. Please bring your own plates, napkins, and utensils. We also have an extensive book of take-out and delivery menus for local establishments; feel free to ask the bartender to see them.

I would like to have a fundraiser at Floyd for a non-profit organization.
We often host community non-profit fundraisers and we offer a special package just for these. We can sell you drink tickets in groups of 25 for $75* which can in turn be re-sold to your guests at whatever price you would like with the difference going towards your cause. The drink tickets are good for any beer, any well drink, or house red or white wine. The tickets are only available in groups of 25 and cannot be sold individually for the bulk price.

These packages of 25 drink tickets for $75 are available on Sunday - Wednesdays and can be purchased from the bartender on duty on the date of your fundraiser. There is no need to contact us in advance unless you are expecting 20 people or more, otherwise please arrive a little before your expected guests and make arrangements for purchase through the bartender on duty. We are unable to offer this special deal for Thursday - Saturday nights.

Proof of non-profit status must be submitted in advance to andrew@thebellhouseny.com when the party is booked. Under no circumstances can the fundraiser deal be offered without proof of non-profit status.
*When people are paying for a drink with a ticket and don't have cash in their hands they often forget to tip, so we do ask that a $15 gratuity be paid towards the bartender for each package of 25 tickets purchased.
